Meanwell PLC-100 Series is 100W Single Output Switching Power Supply. The entire Series is an improvement on the existing PLN-100, which adopts new plastic housing design to change the I/O terminal block connection, bringing more flexibility to the wiring work. Two small-hole rubber stoppers add to the housing, allowing users to adjust the output current or voltage without removing the housing. PLC-100 adopts leading edge zero current switch/zero voltage switch (ZCS/ZVS) technology, so that its efficiency can be as high as 88.5%. Therefore, it only uses natural air cooling heat dissipation, and can operate in -30~+50°C environment. The product utilizes built-in active power factor correction (PFC) architecture and meets the EN61000-3-2 harmonic current Class C requirements (output load of 75% or higher), which meets the needs of lighting equipment. In addition, the output current can be adjusted between 75%~100% (or 75%~103%) of the rated value, and the output voltage can be adjusted between 85%~100% (or 95%~110%) of the rated value. Apart from them, PLC-100 is also UL, CUL, TUV and CE global safety certified, including EN61347-2-13, UL1310 Class 2 and UL879. Typical applications for these new Class 2 power supplies include LED strip displays and backlights, LED decoration/architectural lighting, LED stage lighting and LED electronic displays.
