l  S6720S-S provides various security protection features, supporting attack prevention against DOS (Denial of Service) types, network attacks, and user attacks. Among them, the DOS class attacks mainly include SYN Flood, Land, Smurf, and ICMP Flood. Network attacks mainly refer to STP's BPDU/Root attacks. User attacks involve DHCP spoofing, man-in-the-middle attacks, IP/MAC Spoofing attacks, DHCP request floods, and DOS attacks that change the CHADDR value, among others.

l  S6720S-S supports the establishment and maintenance of a DHCP Snooping binding table, which directly drops illegal packets (such as ARP spoofing packets, unauthorized IP address modifications, etc.) that do not conform to the binding table entries, effectively preventing hackers or attackers from carrying out common "man-in-the-middle" attacks in the campus network using ARP packets.
