Huawei CloudEngine 6820-48S6CQ-A is a next-generation 10GE access switch with 48*10G SFP+, 6*100G QSFP28. The product offers high performance and high port density for data center networks. It has advanced hardware architecture with 40GE/100GE uplink ports and high-density 10GE access ports. Moreover, CloudEngine 6820-A series support a rang of DC features and use a flexible airflow design (front-toback or back-to-front). It can work with CloudEngine 16800 series data center core switches to build elastic, virtual, and highquality 40GE/100GE full-mesh networks, meeting requirements of cloud computing data centers.
CloudEngine 6820-A series provide high-density 10GE access to help enterprises and carriers build a scalable data center network platform in the cloud computing era. They can also work as core or aggregation switches on campus networks.
Furthermore, CloudEngine 6820-A series switches provide telemetry technology to collect device data in real time and send the data to Huawei data center network analyzer iMaster NCE-FabricInsight. The iMaster NCE-FabricInsight analyzes network data based on the intelligent fault identification algorithm, accurately displays the real-time network status, effectively demarcates and locates faults in a timely manner, and identifies network problems that affect user experience, accurately guaranteeing user experience.

l CloudEngine 6820-A series switches provide up to 48 x 10GE ports, allowing for high-density GE/10GE server access and smooth evolution.
l CloudEngine 6820-A series switches provide up to 6 x 100GE QSFP28 ports. Each 100GE QSFP28 port is backward compatible with 40GE QSFP+ ports, providing flexibility in networking. The uplink 40GE/100GE ports can be connected to CloudEngine 16800 or CloudEngine 16800-X series switches to build a non-blocking network platform.
l CloudEngine 6820-A series switches have innovative energy-saving chips and can measure system power consumption in real time. The fan speed can be adjusted dynamically based on system consumption. These energy-saving technologies reduce O&M costs and contribute to a greener DC.
l CloudEngine 6820-A series switches use the OPS module embedded in the VRP8 software platform to provide programmability on the control plane. Users or third-party developers can use the open APIs to develop and deploy dedicated network management policies, implementing fast expansion of service functions, automatic service deployment, and intelligent device management. In this way, OPS realizes automatic O&M, reducing management costs.
