Huawei S12700/S12700E series switches are the next-generation campus network core agile switches.
It adopts a fully programmable architecture to meet the flexible and fast customization needs of users, and help users to smoothly evolve the network to SDN (Software-Defined Networking).
Based on the Ethernet Network Processor, built-in hardware on-board AC, realizing the true integration of wired and wireless; supporting iPCA (Packet Conservation Algorithm for Internet) network packet conservation algorithm, which can detect any business flow point by point at any time and anywhere, helping users Accurate management of the business.
Based on Huawei's self-developed general routing platform VRP, on the basis of providing high-performance L2/L3 switching services, it further integrates multiple network services such as MPLS VPN, desktop cloud, and video conferencing.
Based on the NGSF (Next Generation Switch Fabric) system, through the cell switching technology, the forwarding delay of the equipment is reduced, and the load balancing capability of the equipment switching network is improved.
Provides a single-link service port cluster with a maximum of 100Gbit/s, coupled with a variety of high-reliability technologies such as hardware Eth-OAM, BFD, ring network protection, etc., while improving user production efficiency, it ensures the maximum network uptime. Thereby reducing the user's total cost of ownership (TCO).
S12700 provides four product types: S12704, S12708, S12710 and S12712
S12704 supports up to 4 LPU circuit boards and 2 SFU switching network boards
S12708 supports up to 8 LPU circuit boards and 4 SFU switching network boards
S12710 supports up to 10 LPU circuit boards and 2 SFU switching network boards
S12712 supports up to 12 LPU circuit boards and 4 SFU switching network boards
S12700E provides three product types: S12700E-4, S12700E-8 and S12700E-12
S12700E-4 supports up to 2 main control boards, 2 SFU switching network boards and 4 LPU circuit boards
S12700E-8 supports a maximum of 2 main control boards, 4 SFU switching network boards and 8 LPU circuit boards. S12700E-12 supports a maximum of 2 main control boards, 4 SFU switching network boards and 12 LPU circuit boards.
